Eastwood plays the role of Earl Stone. This 80-year-old man, who has no money at his soul, is alone as a finger and threatens to take over the indebted business by the bank. That's when he gets a job offer that only requires him to drive a car. In this simple way, Earl becomes a drug courier on the services of the Mexican cartel, of which he is completely unaware. He's doing well. Basically, it's so good that the size of the loads he carries is growing at an exponential pace, and Earl himself gets a helper. However, he is not the only one who follows Earl. The new mysterious smuggler also found himself in the pinch of well-known DEA agent Colin Bates (Cooper). Although Earl's financial problems go into oblivion, mistakes made by him in the past are beginning to get more and more intense. It is not known, however, whether he will be able to repair it before the law enforcement authorities or the cartel executives get to him.
